Five years ago I would have said it was impossible to squeeze in a special event in the midst of a tour but all bets seem to be off in these troubled economic times. The music industry is definitely changing the rules so I wouldn’t be shocked by any new business practices.

True or not, Ruben did already try to tour with the also rans in the not to distant past. William Hung and Chicken Little were part of that tour and they didn’t sell 300 tickets!I like Ruben well enough, but I just don’t see him as being in the same Universe as Clay.My hope is that Ruben will appear on Clay’s PBS Special and that there will be no Clay/Ruben tour.

Yea there is way to many mistakes in this ad..Like they said Aug 17th on friday..well Aug 17th of next yr is on Tues..I think maybe it was something that was suppose to happen and never did.

But the video said its only one show..We dont know enough about the Clay and Ruben tour enough to say he cant do that one show and when the tour was announced it said spring/summer..I think it can be done. I don’t think Ruben would make things up..plus it wasn’t leaked by Ruben the first time it came out

Can you seriously see Ruben touring with Clay and then going out again with the also rans? I can’t imagine it happening that way.

I dont think this proves that the tour isnt going to happen..Ruben has been asked a couple of times..and he said they are going to do something in the summer..then he said he cant talk more about it..
