From Idol to Inspiration is a TV Special about American Idols and their faith. It has been airing on the Gospel Music Channel which is a Christian-based cable music channel.
The special featured Phil Stacey, Melinda Doolittle, Mandisa and Chris Sligh talking about their faith and how it affected their respective Idol runs.The very last segment is devoted to Danny Gokey and his tragic story.
Notably missing is Clay Aiken and RJ Helton. It looks like the Christian-based cable music channel doesn’t acknowledge Christians who are gay. Shame on them!
