Sounds more disco than techno to me. Why are some assuming that that Adam has nothing to do with this or other previous recordings and their release? He received remuneration for it, didn’t he? He apparently recently met with the producers and gave his approval of the recordings. It does appear that Adam was not adverse to the recordings before the end of AI. It does seem that it will conflict with the release of his new work with 19E/RCA. I think that is going to be of some concern to him and his record company. pixie(Quote)
Adam can sing anything anytime, and do a stupendous job. His voice is fantastic.
Sorry they are trying to cash in before the big splash, but I don’t blame Adam for this. Doubt he had a word to say about it.
His album will probably be far different from what he recorded previously. I will surely buy it anyhow, as the vocals will be superior. maryn(Quote)
Correction to my first post – THIS rendition of the song is trash. Tina Turner is in a class by herself and Adam Lambert attempting to sing her song is a travesty. Anne(Quote)
I thought Adam said he wanted to be a rock star?!!
Oh, that’s right, he just wants to play dress up. Well, maybe he can wear his pink dress and blue glitter make up and dance under the disco ball.
This song is a piece of trash. Just like the person singing it. Anne(Quote)
sure sounds like a woman! not my cuppa! Llana(Quote)
Holy crap, and I mean crap! Is he thinking he’s going to revive disco.
Leave the disco ball and platform shoes home. And leave this CD on the shelf! Bad, just bad. Serendipity(Quote)
Thanks for keeping the public informed. If all we did was listen to the RCA/19 PR machine, we wouldn’t get the real story. As for Adam? I’m over it, but I am sure RCA/19 will shove him down our throats (NO pun intended) for the rest of this year. The proof will be in the pudding aka his first record with RCA/19 and if he sells.
Would love to hear more about how the WINNER of AI, Kris Allen, is doing. luluasst(Quote)
Oh look! Marie’s back! LOL
That song is terrible! He butchers it! Brad(Quote)
What’s Love Go to Do With It will probably be a hit because of the dance beat of the song. That’s what people seem to want these days. At the same time the beat is what you hear first and the vocals become secondary sort of fading into the background. When the beat becomes the main part of the songs as in the second two, the vocals have little meaning, but this is what Adam said he really wants to do. Jack(Quote)
I definitely think Hi Fi went for a sneaky quick cash with demo songs and sessions songs from a couple years ago made by Adam instead of signing up a karaoke gokey singer. marie(Quote)
Adam is fantastic. I love him unconditionally, i love his singing. martah(Quote)
I think Adam sounds like a girl. Not my kind of music. How many careers and recordings does this guy have? Looks like AI found them a real ringer. whatavoice(Quote)
