Kelly Clarkson Fires Back at Tedder By Giving Away The Song For Free.

Kelly Clarkson fires back at Ryan Tedder on the Toyota Community MySpace page by giving away the song that is the subject of a feud between her and the songwriter/producer.

Ryan issued a defensive statement on his MySpace page encouraging everyone to listen to both Beyonce’s “Halo” and Kelly’s “Already Gone” and begs us to try and find some differences in the 2 songs. Way to self-promote there, Ryan. He even manages to squeeze in a plug for “Bleeding Love”.

Ryan wrote:

“Already Gone is one of the best song I’ve written or produced since Bleeding Love and stands tall on it’s own merits apart from Halo.

They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically, & lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyoncé into recording over the same musical track, the idea is both hurtful & absurd.

I think when people hear “Already Gone” they will hear what I hear-one of the greatest female vocalists on earth giving her most haunting and heart-breaking performance on a song she helped write.

I challenge people to listen and form their own opinions.”

Everyone already has known for months that the songs are recycled. Nice try Ryan.

Well, I took Ryan’s challenge… and the songs sound the same. I like Kelly’s song, but I agree with her that it sounds like he gave Beyonce the same track to work from. I don’t blame her for being upset about it.  (Quote)

Ryan Tedder is nothing but a tool. I don’t like Kelly’s song anyway, but Tedder is so overrated it’s sickening. But he keeps Clive happy by kissing his ass so what’s to be expected. Not much.  (Quote)
