Idol Kris Allen Says Adam Lambert is
Finally Showing His True Colors

Shocked over Adam Lambert’s recent performance antics? Don’t be, says American Idol winner Kris Allen, because there is more to come.
“Yeah, that’s who he is,” Allen told the press at last Friday’s Z100’s Jingle Ball at New York’s Madison Square Garden. “Obviously, he couldn’t do that stuff on Idol. And so you’re getting to see the real Adam now.”
Lambert caused an uproar for his sexually-charged performance on the American Music Awards last month, which led ABC to cancel his scheduled New Year’s Eve appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and his performance on Good Morning America. He was allowed to appear on The View.
“I thought it was Adam being Adam,” Allen said of Lambert’s AMA performance. “I’m going to get a shirt that just says, ‘That’s Adam.’ “
As for Lambert, he says he has found a way to address the controversies through his music.
“[The single 'Whataya Want From Me'] is a great way for me to say to the public, ‘What do you guys want from me? I’m doing my best,’ ” he said. “And the best lyric in the song is ‘I’m a freak but thanks for lovin’ me. ‘Cause you’re doing it perfectly.’ “
The Idol runner-up just hopes fans don’t stop loving his music. “I think that’s my biggest fear,” Lambert admitted.

whether you are fan or a hater, just stop, listen to the the music, and leave adam, clay, and every other celebrity alone. you might love them or hate them, but they really did work hard to be where they were and they dont need the whole world talking about it. everyone of them, including adam, has made mistakes(not including the AMA performence, there was nothing wrong with that, unlike all of you are saying) but you just have to remember the good times and prepare for the future. There will be other scandals, controversies, and hits, but just roll with it. you don’t have enough life to report every bit of hatred in this world. Stop agonizing over the things you can’t change and work hard to change the things you can. Your future is yours for the changing, just stop messing with everyone elses.

I feel really stupid. I have no idea who the glamberts or the claymates are, all I know is that i am a huge adam lambert fan and will most likely continue to be one no matter what he does. I know you people won’t listen to me because you are all rapped up in your little celebrity world, but i think that people should stop analyzing everything that adam, or any other celebrity for that matter does. Why don’t you just lay back and enjoy the music?
I know that he’s made some mistakes, but overall he’s a great singer and a good person. Isn’t that everything you could ask for? And by the way, I think the AMA performance was fantastic and nothing to be ashamed of. It was just a display of the kind of person he is and if you don’t like it you don’t have tell everyone about it. This is a message to every hater and fan alike,

They can keep saying Clay isn’t important to them..but why is his name keep getting brought up on the articles that have nothing to do with Clay one little bit..And why do they go to polls and try to bring down Clay ratings every chance they get..And why did they buy tons of cds of Adams to beat Clays record..I for one is a member on Clays fan site..and we DO NOT EVER talk bad about Adam over there..We don’t bash any other Idol over there! Adams OFC is a hate fest! Its Kinda sad that’s for sure! And your right…If the Glamberts would just support Adam..I don’t think people would be so interested in the negative stuff! Lori, you are so right. Nobody would care about Adam’s failure or success if it wasn’t for the Glamberts. In their eyes everybody who was not Adam was so insignificant and undeserving of any success or any fans.

They want to believe that Clay is not important to them. Then why did they post everywhere that AL had to beat his records because if not, “Claymates would rub it into their faces forever”? They are jealous of everybody, but mainly Clay. They are the ones who first mention him on this blog even when the topic is not about him.
After the innumerable nasty things they have said of Clay and many other entertainers I’m so glad they are swallowing their own words. Nothing has been as they expected. Exactly! Not all, but a good portion of Adam’s fans are rude, loud, obnoxious, insulting, condescending, and delusional. I have a feeling bloggers/commenters/whoever wouldn’t be looking for all the negative in Adam and hoping for him to fail if it weren’t for his obnoxious fans. After months of hearing them imply you’re homophobic for not liking theatrical wailing and questioning peoples’ taste in music for not liking his voice, it’s a bit satisfying to see Adam not turn out to be the next Elvis/Freddie Mercury/whoeverthefuck.
God forbid you like other singers, and I’m not just talking about singers from AI. I think the Glamberts even ragged on Taylor Swift because she got too ‘close’ with Adam at one of the Jingle Balls. The Sparkle Cows had to rip her a new one and criticize her voice/songwriting just because she and Adam were in the same vicinity and got the chance to talk to each other. First she has to deal with Kanye, and now Adam fans. She’s only 19, about the same age as these cows’ granddaughters.
If they had just STFU and stuck to digging through his garbage, stalking his photo shoots, writing creepy fanfic, etc, then I seriously doubt anyone would care whether or not he failed or succeeded. Lori(Quote)

Cathy, it’s true what you’re saying about the Adam articles posted on this site. The thing is, you just gotta laugh at them and realize how hilarious it all is. That’s why I enjoy checking this site out every once in awhile. It’s kind of like “uh-oh, what did Adam do now over at mj’s blog? What kind of evil and horror is he spreading this week?” It makes for great entertainment. Now to be fair, some things he has done do deserve criticism (AMA performance, second week of album sales) but it’s just extra hilarious when you have these people who stalk Adam and the Glamberts all day to find an article or an incident or a quote that they can all get heated up over. The best part of it all is this strange notion that all Glamberts are out to get Clay and his Claymates. I guess I fail as an Adam fan then, because in my circle of evil Glamberts, Clay has never really crossed our minds. Also, we’re suposed to blame Adam for something? So yeah, just laugh and shrug it off. It IS kind of weird how much hatred these people can channel toward one person. Maybe it turns them on? Maybe it makes them feel better about life? I don’t know cuz I’ve never hated someone that much. What I DO know is, it’s fascinating and entertaining to watch!

I don’t have a problem with anyone not liking Adam. Even he says it….he is not everyone’s cup of tea. I don’t like Clay. He has a great voice but I don’t like his music or him personally either. I don’t run a site and then spend my time twisting articles to slam him. I can see that Clay has a huge fanbase. I don’t have a problem with that. There has not been one nice article about Adam on this site. Everything is twisted to make him sound bad. Someone posted that during the Jingle Bell article Adam wasn’t mentioned. No he wasn’t. He spent a couple of moments on stage. Why would they mention him under those circumstances. What he did all night was pose for pictures with the long line-up of people who wanted pictures. I read that they allowed 10 in at a time and it took 4 hours to get all the pictures taken. Of course you would never have searched that information down. I also read that until Adam was put on the list, they hadn’t sold all their tickets. Once Adam’s name was there the tickets sold. There are thousand of articles out there that show that Adam is not the horrible person that you people like to protray him as. You just don’t want to read those articles or post them here. I find it self defeating that Adam’s fans continue the attacks on Clay Aiken and his fans. Adam and Clay will never be in competition with one another as their music tastes are so different. Adam hopes to be Top 40, Clay is not a Top 40 artist since his music leans toward AC.

I think you are confused, Cathy. I don’t think this article, or anyone posting here, has said that Adam and Kris are not friends. The problem is with some Adam fans who have practically taken out a contract on Kris for perceiving his comments as non-supportive of Adam. I happen to think that Kris was doing his best to be supportive of Adam. Personally, I think they need to step back and respect Kris and Adam’s friendship and not attack Adam’s friends and their families.
Personally, I don’t hate Adam. It is just that I don’t like him and I don’t like some of the things he has done. I reserve the right to express my feelings as much as Adam has the right to express his. pixie(Quote)

Wow do you know how to twist someone’s words. If you go on Kris’s fansite his fans say that kris is not saying anything bad about Adam. In fact all he is saying is that Adam is very flamboyant. Considering Kris and Adam are best of friends, I guess Kris likes that about Adam.
