He really does have a great voice. Very smooth.
I have been going to all the record shops in Penang,Malaysia where I stay and until today I still cannot get the CD.What a shame!!!They always feed me with the answer that it has not arrived yet….Have also written on Decca page but still no CD.In the meantime, logged in to Myspace and enjoyed T n T.What a beautiful masterpiece!!!
The Tried and True PBS Special was premiered in Chicago tonight. According to the reports it was a huge success. I hope it’s shown all around the country in August including my local station of course! The summer tour dates are getting closer and closer, can’t wait!!!
I just received the Deluxe CD Tried and True and it’s simply beautiful.
Good CD. I think this music suits him very well.
Clay sounds fabulous, but of course that’s not news. What else could one expect from him and his magnificent voice? Love the CD, I’m also been enjoying his appearances on TV and all those interviews on the Web and on Radio stations. He looks soooo fine!

I think Clay really nailed it with this CD. I love the orchestration and his voice is fabulous. I got mine Saturday and haven’t stopped listening to it. It’s lively and finger snappin fun.

I am surprised at how much I like this album. I didn’t think the Big Band sound would be so interesting.
I have not stopped playing “Tried & True” since last Tuesday. I absolutely love it. From Clay’s beautiful vocals, to the production and orchestration.
A friend and I made the trek from north of Toronto to Buffalo to purchase the deluxe edition. I’ll tell you, it was a struggle. There were no “Tried & True” in any of the Best Buy stores….A few in each of the Barnes & Noble stores…..and they were going to restock…. It’s hard to sell, when it’s not on the “New Release” rack, or in the regular slots….. But I do believe this will sell well, over a period of time…with the tour and PBS Special. This CD is absolutely Timeless….
Love the cd and Clay’s voice. I expect this album will sell over a long period of time especially when it is stocked and available to people.

His voice is out front and is not overpowered.
